Princess Anne in Diana dress disaster

Princess Anne caused a stir when she turned up to Lady Rose (daughter of the Duke of Gloucester) and George Gilman's wedding on Saturday in the same dress she wore to Prince Charles' wedding to Lady Diana 27 years ago.
The 58-year-old looked nice in the size-10 Maureen Baker floral-print wrap dress and John Boyd hat but even I, on my small wages, get something new for every wedding I attend.
I'm not sure what she was thinking. There's no way she can have been as stupid to think no one would notice and I doubt she was trying to make a point so why do it?
I'm not being snobby about wearing outfits again but considering who she is, the money she has and the wedding it was last used for...the mind boggles - it really does.
