Heather looked great in a short, metallic dress trimmed with pillarbox red nails, lips and shoes.

Her trademark hairstyle was well gone, replaced by long, sleek locks.

Hundreds of people enjoyed her performance on Friday night in Victoria Park, which included her greatest hits. For full reports and a picture special see Friday's Southport Visiter.

Fearne Cotton and her skinny red jeans

The weather is bonkers at the moment and I never know what to sling on in a morning. The weather at 8am does not indicate what the weather will be like by lunch time.

I have decided colourful, skinny jeans are the solution (well, one of them). They are bright and summery but don't leave you exposed if dark clouds suddenly appear.

Princess Anne in Diana dress disaster

Posted by Jo Kelly on July 23, 2008 1:59 PM

Princess Anne caused a stir when she turned up to Lady Rose (daughter of the Duke of Gloucester) and George Gilman's wedding on Saturday in the same dress she wore to Prince Charles' wedding to Lady Diana 27 years ago.

The 58-year-old looked nice in the size-10 Maureen Baker floral-print wrap dress and John Boyd hat but even I, on my small wages, get something new for every wedding I attend.

Wonder Woman collection

Posted by Jo Kelly on July 15, 2008 10:03 AM

VOGUE wrote at 10.01am today:

DIANE VON FURSTENBERG, something of a heroine herself in fashion circles, will be unveiling a new collection this October - inspired by Wonder Woman.

A quirky, fun line of dresses, footwear and a few leather accessories, the collection encompasses the vibrant colours and the star motif that the super-heroine is known for. Created in collaboration with Warner Bros and DC Comics, the capsule collection will help to raise money for Vital Voices Global Partnership, for the empowerment of female entrepreneurs around the world.

Of the collaboration, von Furstenberg said: "Wonder Woman is the ultimate symbol of female strength, independence and freedom. When Warner Bros. approached me to collaborate, I immediately thought it was a fun idea that would reinforce my belief in women and commitment to their empowerment. The collection will inspire every woman to be the Wonder Woman she wants to be."

Fruity Jewellery from John Lewis

I ABSOLUTELY love these new Jou Jou pieces by Finesse. They're really summery and not ridiculously priced. The cherry necklace is £79, the charm bracelet is £39 and charms start from £29.

They are available from John Lewis and House of Fraser on 08456 439 897.fruit.jpg

HE might have put his fashion label up for sale back in April but it looks like fashion designer Roberto Cavalli has now changed his mind.

Roger Federer, Rafa Nadal, Gwen Stefani

Posted by Jo Kelly on July 7, 2008 3:27 PM

Yesterday's Wimbledon tennis final was awesome and the fashion of finalists and fans didn't disappoint.

Switzerland's Roger Federer looked classy in his custom-made Nike cardi while being cheered on by a very pregnant but beautiful Gwen Stefani. She's been doing minimal eye make-up with vampish red lips for yonks but still makes it look stunning.

Festival Fever

Posted by Kathryn Carr on July 4, 2008 4:13 PM

It's Festival Time again!

I've just got back from Glastonbury, which was, as always, a great weekend, packed with pear cider, more pear cider.. and the odd bit of music here and there..

Clothes-wise, it threw up dilemma after dilemma. For a start, it poured down twice, but was roasting hot with glorious sunshine the rest of the time. Secondly, I was the only girl camping with three boys, therefore style discussions, advice on shades of nail polish and hair maintenance focus groups were strictly out of the question. Most of the time.
