Shockingly it was Cynthia Nixon who shone on the red carpet last night. Her revealing, yet simple, maxi dress topped with dangly earrings stole Carrie's stylish crown from off her head.
Talking of Carrie's head...
...the crown was replaced by a Philip Treacy head piece.
Although her headgear was more likely to make the crowd green-fingered than green with envy, the dress worked. The cut of the fitted Alexander McQueen number suited her figure and was elegant yet fun. What SJP remembered - but her commrades forgot - is...we're having a heatwave. SJP dressed for the event but kept the summery vibe alive.
Kristin Davies looked dull and I've got a bag just like that but I got mine free from Avon. The way the dress hung was unflattering and made her bum look big.
Kim, oh Kim. The dress seemed to wear her rather than the other way round. It was more like a piece of art than an outfit, which I kinda liked. I liked her shoes even more - bondage/ gladiator style sandals will be everywhere this summer, I reckon.
