Channel 4 icon Gok Wan famous for getting women to strip off
Channel 4’s style icon Gok Wan is coming to Liverpool in search of Britain's fashion icons.
His new primetime series turns attention to how to look sensational fully clothed.
According to Gok, style has nothing to do with age, looks or class – you either have it or you don’t.
On SUNDAY 11th MAY Gok will be hitting high streets, offices and factories around Liverpool in search of Britain’s top fashionistas. And once he’s found them he’ll be asking them to strut their stuff on his traveling catwalk which will take centre stage in Williamson Square.
The cream of Liverpool’s fashion crop will win a place in the grand final with a chance to be crowned the most stylish person in Britain and to win a fabulous fashion prize.
Style supremo Gok is looking for men and women with originality and flair and who aren’t afraid to show it. Do you think YOU have style? Is YOUR look a cut above the rest? Could YOU be Britain’s undiscovered fashion icon? If so, prove it!
Gok’s traveling catwalk will also be visiting the high streets of CARDIFF, BRISTOL, BRIMINGHAM, EDINBURGH, NEWCASTLE and BELFAST.
Anyone can enter - all you’ll need is the confidence to pull it off. Gok’s especially on the lookout for people with their own unique brand of style – it’s not about designer fashion or expensive price tags, it’s all about individuality and not being afraid to stand out in the crowd.
Britain is known the world over for its street style – it’s where the best designers in the world look to for inspiration, and this is all about celebrating that fact – Britain has style like no other country on earth.
Those turning up to strut their stuff will be required to have photo ID (such as a passport or driving license) as proof of age and identity. No ID, no entry.
Gok’s Clothes Show is set to be the weekly must-watch fashion programme with a front row seat to the best of high street and designer shopping, due for transmission later this summer.
