Posted by Jo Kelly on March 28, 2008 9:19 AM

France's first lady Carla Bruni wore english designer John Galliano for French design house Dior
on her arrival at Westminster

Former model and folk singer Carla Bruni struck the perfect balance between sophistication and sexiness. Bare legs in March were toned down by simple, black ballet pumps (which also helped disguise the four inch height difference between her and...

PRADA FAIRIES BAG

Tilda Swinton, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Catherine Deneuve show off their Prada bags

I'm not really into designer handbags. If someone wanted to give me one for free then I'd happily accept it but I would never spend more than £150 on a bag. BUT - I've fallen in love with this Prada Fairies Bag (click on the link and go to page six.)

Prada £1050

I love everything about it - the design, the bag, the colours, everything. The price is too steep for me but if I win the lottery tonight, it'll be my first buy.

Jordan's Big Boob Bras

Katie Price Ribbon Detail Padded Bra £16 Thong £7

Say what you like about Jordan, her new bras at Asda are fantastic. I normally have to trek into Manchester and go to Bravissimo to get underwear but Asda have changed all that.
Marks and Spencer do big sizes but they're usually expensive and about as sexy as your nan's nighty.
Asda's new range, faced by Katie Price, are pretty without being pricey.

STYLE QUIZ

Posted by Jo Kelly on March 13, 2008 8:59 AM

This fashion website claims to be able to answer any questions about dressing for your style.

Questions like "What type of jewelry expresses your style the best?" and "Which celebrity style do you most identify with?" pop up.

I did it and it told me...

EIGHTIES IN THE NAUGHTIES

Posted by Jo Kelly on March 12, 2008 8:57 AM

The 80s are back and BBC show Ashes to Ashes is doing a great job of getting people excited about the trend.

The clothes part is easy to recreate but the hair's a little trickier. One word of warning...be wary of self-perm kits. Topping the look off with the ultimate 80s do is fantastic but go to a salon. Sarah Harding is leading the way.

Anyone gots snaps of them and their mates back in the 80s with leg-warmers, neon tights etc?
Email them in and I'll put them all on here.

Blazin' saddles

Posted by Kathryn Carr on March 6, 2008 5:17 PM

I never tire of my gorgeous duffel coat. My mum bought it for me from Burberry when I was about 13 (the good ol' days, when chavs still worshipped at the altar of Fred Perry) and it's seen me through every winter since.

But it's March, and I need a change.. something a bit lighter, a bit frivolous, the sort of thing I can throw on to work and to the pub. Something I can dress up with a pencil skirt, or down with a pair of big flared jeans..

Time for a new blazer!

Blazer of the week: £55 from Topshop.

Now if only it would stop hailing long enough for me to get to the shops...

Singer Lily Allen at London's Fashion Week

It's time to be brave and join the dark side. Don't worry if you're not up to donning black lipstick, MAC's deep love lipstick will do the trick with a healthy dose of eyeliner. Try Rimmel's - I've found one on ebay and it only costs 1p at the moment.

I.. like.. big bags and I cannot lie...

Posted by Kathryn Carr on March 3, 2008 9:25 AM

Oversized bags are everywhere. Which is great for me, with the inexplicable amount of rubbish I carry round with me on a day-to-day basis. (Sandwich? Spare pair of leggings? Lonely Planet guide to Stratford-Upon-Avon, anyone?)
