I went to see a film yesterday and the costumes made it.

It starts as a Disney-esque cartoon with a beautiful maiden (Amy Adams) and a handsome prince (James Marsden) singing a loved up duet. The Queen (dressed as an ugly old hag of course) pushes the maiden down a well on her wedding day. The bride-to-be then pops up in New York city (the place where there are no happy endings she cackles).

The pretty wannabe-princess then meets the pragmatic Patrick-Grey's-Anatomy-Dempsey and falls for him instead.
The costumes are brilliantly done because they radiate fairytale while fitting nicely into the reality of the story when needed to. Jo x
