I'm not one to battle the sales really.
Don't get me wrong, I love a bargain as much as the next Primark-clad lady and I'm not ashamed of delving into the depths of a discount bin but the physical effort of "the sales" isn't worth it for me.
It's probaby because I worked at Next for a while and saw things during sales, which still haunt my dreams....
It would be silly o'clock in the morning, still dark outside, and there would be pale faces squashed up against the windows clawing to get in the shop - Dawn of the Dead comes to mind.
We'd open the doors and they'd pour in, snatching and grabbing as they went like wild animals desparate to get items they'd be bringing back a week later.
Children would literally be tied to their parents so mum could clamber over mountains of shoes on the brink of an avalanche and venture into 50p piles of pyjamas without worrying about losing their little ones.
Some brats, however, would get divided and proceeded to stand in the middle of the chaotic store screaming until a member of staff (usually me) would help them.
So, what with tills pinging, children screaming, mums fighting, dads moaning, people fainting, managers going into melt down and staff literally walking out - I went off the sales for some reason.
Stick to online bargains. Here's some which tickled my fancy:

This is deep band slinky kimono dress is £12 from £35 and comes in green or black from asos.com. Go for the green though because we're all loving "block colour" at the moment.

This one also comes in black or green and I love the studs. It's £15 from £45 and OC star Misha Barton was seen in something very similar...
